- For the Pizza Dough:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) Of dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (about 110°F/45°C)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- For the Minced Meat Topping:
- 300g (10.5 oz) minced beef or lamb (or a combination of both)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp of red chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Pizza Sauce:
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Toppings:
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 small green pepper, sliced into thin pieces
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- Fresh jalapeños or pickled jalapeños, sliced (optional)
- Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley, if preferred
