6. Pesto Round Table Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Notes

Instructions.
  • In a food processor, mix basil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic.
  • Pulse until the ingredients are finely chopped.
  • With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the pesto to a bowl and let it cool before using on pizza.
