- Warm olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the crushed garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute maximum, until smell good.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste.
- Add oregano, basil, thyme, and sugar. Stir.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer, then reduce heat.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly and the flavors meld together.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Once the sauce is ready, you can use it on your pizza as desired.
